Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust’s 2015 staff survey results are better than average in almost all areas and help rank the trust as one of the top 100 best places to work in the NHS (Health Service Journal). SCFT is the first NHS organisation in Sussex to be a ‘Living Wage Employer’.

The Trust is signed up to the disability confident scheme and we guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Research and Innovation team as a Clinical Research Facilitator.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Clinical Research Facilitator. The role will focus on facilitating clinical research working as part of the Delivery Team in the Research and Innovation department. The post-holder will focus on research governance, research investigator support, study set-up and ongoing study management, data co-ordination, project and performance monitoring and administrative support. The post-holder will be responsible for co-ordinating and undertaking the review of Chief Investigator led studies requiring Trust sponsorship. The post-holder will also review Principal Investigator locally led studies requiring confirmation of capacity and capability.

This is a varied and key role contributing to delivering an effective and efficient service for our research community and our external partners.

We are looking for applicants with experience of NHS research review processes and knowledge of regulatory requirements for research within the NHS. The ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders and work within a team is essential to the role.
