This is a opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to join our expanding and dynamic Medicines Management team.
It would be suitable for someone wishing to gain further experience in a clinical role or for someone returning to work after a career break. We can be flexible with hours including full time or part time.
The post will involve working with specialist pharmacy technicians to deliver a high quality and effective medicines management service to our patients in adult bedded units which are managed by Brighton and Hove City Council. You will also be working alongside GPs and staff employed by Brighton and Hove City Council to deliver excellent and safe patient-centred care. You will also have the opportunity to assist the Senior Clinical Pharmacist (Responsive Services) with undertaking clinical pharmacy medication reviews of patients’ medicines in their homes.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have been working as a clinical pharmacist directly with patients with complex health needs and with a range of healthcare professionals. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven team working abilities, be resourceful, able to manage your time effectively and prioritise your own workload.
This post will be based at Brighton General Hospital and will involve travel around the Brighton and Hove area and also across Sussex Community NHS Trust.
Interviews will take place at Brighton General Hospital in February.
